About Us

The utilities listed below are supplied as as, i.e. without any warranty whatsoever. Please download and use them, however, Sanderson Forensics accepts no liability for any loss or damage caused by their use or misuse.

These utilities are not strictly free. The fee I would ask of anyone who visits these pages is that they take time to look at the commercial programs I have developed.

ForensicCopy

ForensicCopy is a simple utility that copies the content of one folder to a specified destination. A SHA1 Hash is created on the source, against the destination after it has been written and then again against the source. Download it here.

SBMD5

Calculate an MD5 checksum on the content of a SafeBack image on tape. The hash/checksum generated is based on the data within the image and will compare with a hash/checksum taken directly on the drive with a utility such as Encase. Download it here  (approx.280KB)

Inquire

A Windows based application that issues a SCSI Inquiry command and lists any hard disk drives found along with model number, product revision level and serial number (ESN). Download it here (approx. 240KB).

MD5

A simple Windows based MD5 program for generating MD5 hashes on files - download it here (approx. 240KB)

ListCodecs

ListCodecs was developed as a result of  the increasing amount of work involving CCTV and Video data.  It enables a user to be able  to keep track of the Video and Audio codecs installed on their computer.  Download it here.
